My wife, three young children and I moved to Florence to my family’s farm on the North Fork in 1991. I worked for a local garbage company for the next few years, until I decided to venture out on my own. Central Coast Disposal was first established in May of 1999, we began with only three employees, including the owners, and now we employ eleven. When we started, our children were ten, eight, seven, and one years old.
Through the years, our children have helped us with the business working part time, full time, and seasonally. It really is a family run business.
We are also fortunate to have an amazing team of drivers and shop personnel. They take their jobs personally and with pride, and we think that shows to our customers. We are proud to say we are able to pay our employees a living wage and medical benefits.
Customer service is our first objective and we think that our employees go the extra mile. Our office staff is friendly, and we try to receive every phone call and visitor with courtesy and efficiency.
Central Coast Disposal owes its success to the local community for supporting our business throughout the years, we appreciate you all!
