A typical sodden Oregon summer day did not deter a good-sized crowd and numerous organizations from attending and participating in the fourth annual Wings ’n’ Wheels at the Florence Municipal Airport Saturday, June 30. Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue, Western Lane Ambulance District, CERT, police agencies and other emergency services, members of the Central Oregon Coast British Car Club, Rhody Cruisers, Oregon Military Heritage Museum and other clubs shared information with visitors. The Florence Dance Guild didn’t seem to mind dancing in the rain to popular 1950s music.
