Greene to resign from port

Port of Siuslaw Commis-sioner Joshua Greene, who was elected Florence city councilor in November and sworn in Wednesday night, plans to resign from his port post within the next few months.

“I’ve indicated to the commission that as soon as there is someone to take my place, I will resign my position,” said Greene.
