The third annual Florence Festival of Books takes place at the Florence Events Center today, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it’s free to attend.
Seventeen local authors are among the writers expected to participate.
The Coastal Writers will be represented by Karen Nichols, author of “Thornton House” and “The Unexpected Gift”; Arlene Hartzell, author of “The Amazing Adventures of Annie Adair” and “The Year that Santa’s Bag Was Stuck in the Chimney”; and Charles Walker, author of “Sometimes the Dragon Wins,” “Saddle Butte Memoir” and “Haiku and High Timber.” For the complete article see the 09-28-2013 issue.
