The Sailors were on their home court Friday night, with the boys hosting their second game of the season, and the girls kicking off their first game of the season with new coach Charnae Decker.
Taking on Powers, both teams turned in a dominant performance, picking up wins against the Cruisers in both match-ups.
In the girls game, the Sailors posted 48 points to overtake the Cruisers, 48-26.
In the boys match-up, Mapleton easily pulled the plug on Powers, 65-21.
Last night, the Sailors opened the league season on the road at Triangle Lake (after press deadlines).
