Siuslaw in four-way tie for second in FW

The Bulldogs came into Friday’s game at Siuslaw in hopes of extending their lead in the Far West, and did so during an 18-4 run between the second and third quarters.

Though senior post Jake Thompson was able to penetrate and put up 14 points in the game, it was well short of what the Viks needed as North Bend extended its lead in the Far West to two games with a 54-33 win over Siuslaw.

Brookings and Sutherlin also had wins Friday night, creating a four-way tie for second place in the league.
