Bulldogs outrun Vikings in fourth period

It was a dead heat during the first quarter of Friday’s match-up between Siuslaw and North Bend as the Viks hosted the Bulldogs to a 12-12 tie in the opening period.

But in the second quarter, North Bend switched its strategy, sinking three unanswered points from just inside the arc, forcing the Viks out of their triangle-and-two formation and opening up opportunities for the ’Dawgs to penetrate the paint.
