Mapleton to face Red Devils on road

Mapleton senior post Nick Long battles for possession against Siletz. Long had eight boards on Thursday night.

Appropriately enough, during senior night, it was the Sailors’ only two seniors — Isaiah Holman-Gross and Nick Long — who scored the first two baskets of Thursday night’s home game against Siletz.

Though the Warriors won the tip-off, a steal by Holman-Gross put Mapleton up 2-0 less than 30 seconds into the period. A short time later, Long tipped a rebound off the glass for a 4-0 lead.
