FRAZIERóDiane L. Frazier, 53, a resident of Florence since 1967, passed away March 16 from a sudden illness.
Born May 23, 1956 in Wisconsin, she was the second of seven children of Joyce Phillips and former husband George Phillips (deceased). A long-time member of First Baptist Church and a graduate of Siuslaw High, Diane is well known and loved by many in the community.
Employed at Cash King since it opened and in other jobs in Florence, she was hardworking, dependable and generous. Her family remembers her as funny, caring, strong willed and unselfish with her time when others are in need. She thoroughly enjoyed mentally stimulating puzzles and games and never forgot a birthday.
Survivors include her husband Dan Frazier, children Gail Frazier, Carl Frazier and Angela Doege (daughter of Dianeís first husband Clyde Clark); mother Joyce Phillips; siblings Jean Bucknum, Cheryl Tamplen, Sue Gray, Jim Phillips, Julie Howes and Mary Phillips; grandchildren Nathaniel and Davian; and numerous nephews, nieces and other extended family members.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday March 20, at the First Baptist Church in Florence.
