Alan Andrew Amundsen

AMUNDSEN—Alan Andrew Amundsen, 79, of Florence, passed away Nov. 6, 2012, of complications from a brain infection.

Alan was born May 27, 1933, in Grand Rapids, Minn.

After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served eight years in active duty and reserves. He lived in several different cities and worked as an accountant.

Alan had a range of interests, from computers to photography, and was an expert on mushrooms. He will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his cousin, Fred Hilback.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and an older sister.
