STEWART—Patricia Ann Stewart, 80, of Florence, passed away Nov. 24, 2012
Pat was born May 10, 1932, to Roy Pack and Mary Bricken.
Pat loved living in Florence, where she resided with her husband, Glen, for 15 years after moving from Eugene.
She taught the CNA
program at LCC, volunteered at
the Florence Area Humane Society, sang in the chorus at the Florence Events Center and founded Helping Hands Coalition with her husband.
Her life was full of laughter, family, friends and helping others. She loved her dogs and watching birds and various critters from her dining room window.
Music was a large part of her life in her younger years.
She led choir in church and orchestrated Girl Scouts choir events and sang at weddings and special events.
She worked many years as a RN in California and at Sacred Heart before going into teaching; she also worked at the Coumadin clinic in Florence.
She is survived by her husband, Glen; children Linda Morris, Doug Booth, Louise Johnson and her husband, Robert; six grandchildren, Garrett Johnson, Cora Johnson, Shane Potter, Daniel Henson, Katie Roberts and Nolan Potter; and two great-granddaughters, Kaydance and Natalie Nadeau.
Included in her family are also Glen’s children: daughter Teresa Lofy and her husband Dan, and their children, Travis and Mary Stewart, Anthony Lofy, Deanna and Carl Frazier and their son, Davian; and son Mike and his wife, Mimi, Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Pack; a sister, Helen Ryan; and a son, Daniel Booth.
A funeral will be held for Pat at the Community Baptist Church in Florence on Dec. 15, beginning at 11 a.m.
