Barbara Ruth Attleberger

ATTLEBERGER—Barbara Ruth Attleberger, 78, of Mapleton, passed away Dec. 7, 2012.

Barbara was born April 23, 1934, in Deadwood, Ore. At 19 years of age, Barbara married the love of her life, Frank.

They lived in Mapleton the majority of their lives together on the banks of the Siuslaw River. She greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and fishing.

Barbara worked several years delivering The Register-Guard in Eugene and the Oregonian for all of the area.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Eugene Attleberger; a daughter, Jeanette Denham, and her husband, Mike; a daughter, Diane Davis, and her husband, Eddie; a son, Donald Attleberger, and his wife, Anita; her grandsons: Christopher and Jeremy; her granddaughters: Millicent, Nicole, Sarah and Amanda; and her great-grandsons, Luke and Seth.

The funeral is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m., at Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrange-

ments.
