SULLIVAN—Iona B. Sullivan, 86, of Florence, passed away Nov. 12, 2013, at her home and surrounded by her children.
She was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Burley, Idaho, to John Lawrence Braden and Mary Pearl Savage Braden.
Iona came from a large family; she had two sisters and eight brothers.
She married Lynn F. Sullivan on May 6, 1950, in Boise, Idaho.
Iona was the first employee of U-Lane-O Credit Union, later renamed Oregon Community Credit Union. She worked at the credit union with her husband until they retired in 1988.
Survivors include her four children: Christine Sullivan, Connie Hooker, Kim Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan; one grandchild, Krystee Hooker, and one sister, Opal Knippen.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 23, at 2 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Florence.
