A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Oregon Wednesday morning, roughly 70 miles west of Florence in the Pacific Ocean. The earthquake, which occurred at 9:12 a.m. July 28, has a magnitude that will not generate a tsunami, according to officials.
