Woodbury—Glenna Abbott Woodbury, 66, of Florence, passed away June 11, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 3, 1956, in Denver, Colo., to Leonard and Florence Abbott of Idaho Springs, Colo.
Glenna was employed at Three Rivers Casino and Hotel as a lead security supervisor. She was also an Oregon emergency medical responder.
Alongside her husband, she was involved in many community events in Florence.
She is survived by her husband Marvin “Woody” of Florence; son, Lawrence Aregian of Eugene, Ore.; their loyal dog, Cowboy; three sisters, two brothers and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Carahan.
A foundation is being established in her memory: The Glenna Woodbury Cancer Foundation.

A Celebration of Life was held June 14, at the Florence Events Center.
Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
