Norma L. Gnau

GNAU—Norma L. Gnau, 70, of Florence, passed away July 15, 2012, after a short illness.

Norma was born Jan. 27, 1942, to Howard and Beth Skinner of Cushman. She married Jerry R. Gnau on July 17, 1964, in Reno, Nev.

She graduated from Siuslaw High School in 1960 and worked at Lane County Bank for several years before she and Jerry moved to Albany in 1971.

While in Albany, Norma worked at Dari Mart and Bi-Mart before moving back to Florence after they retired in 1998.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kim Jarvis; two grandsons: Joss and Jared; a sister, Lois Collins of Florence; and a brother, Bob Skinner, of Florence.

A private family gathering is planned.

Arrangements are being handled by Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home.
