Vikings go 3-0, take top spot in Far West

Siuslaw celebrates after defeating Douglas in a tight, five-set match at home Tuesday.

The Vikings continued their conquest of the Far West this week, picking up wins on the road and at home to emerge as the league’s only undefeated team at 3-0.

On Tuesday, Siuslaw hosted Douglas, defeating the Trojans in a five-set series that created a three-way tie for second place between Douglas, Sutherlin and North Bend.
