Gaylord to step down from exec position at Boys & Girls Club

Ken Gaylord, executive director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Lane County, recently announced his intention to “retire” at the end of January 2013 to have more time for family and travel, although he still plans to work part-time in some capacity for a non-profit organization. Gaylord has been at the club’s helm for two years.

According to the director, his job will be split into two positions: executive director and resource development officer. The director will handle operations and programs. The resource development officer will ensure there is a balanced, consistent revenue stream. The club will soon begin the recruitment process for the director’s position.
