Kenneth G. Mace

MACE—Kenneth G. Mace, 75, of Florence, passed away Oct 7, 2012.

Ken was in Florence for 12 years after moving here from Salem. He was active on the local music scene, known as “Ken Mace on bass.” He enjoyed riding the dunes and walking the beach, loved fishing, hunting, RV camping, tinkering in his shop and a friendly chat with everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley; his children: Alan, Kevin, Julie and Valerie; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ken had a fishing trip planned to the central Oregon high lakes this week. In memoriam, family and friends will be taking that trip next summer in his honor.
