Vikings still undefeated in FW

A fumble by the Trojans (1-2) on the opening kick-off looked to set the tone for another easy win for the Vikings, who scored a short time later on a two-yard run by junior Sam Johnson.

From there, Siuslaw was able to move ahead 14-0 after senior quarterback Jacob Thompson, from Siuslaw’s own 12-yard line, took the snap on a second-down-and-seven, and slipped past the Trojan defense on an 84-yard keeper for a touchdown.

On the Trojans’ next possession, they marched to within the Vikings’ one-yard line, then lost the ball on a fumble attempting to convert on third down.

In the second quarter, Douglas was able to get on the scoreboard, then tied the game early in the third quarter on a seven-yard run.
