The latest proposals regarding the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area’s (ODNRA) plan to close several unauthorized off-road trails will be available for public comment today as the ODNRA moves closer to its final draft with the release of its environmental impact statement.
The 150-page document prepared by the Siuslaw National Forest will be available for review today during an open house in the Siuslaw High School gym, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The documents are also available online (www.fs.fed.us/nepa/fs-usda-pop.php), with today’s open house offering the first day of public comment, which will continue through Dec. 10.
