Vandals target airport

Florence police are investigating a Friday night break-in and vandalism at the Florence Municipal Airport. According to airport volunteers, nothing was stolen from the airport office, but the culprit or culprits caused plenty of damage.

Paul Thompson, volunteer leader, said that when volunteers arrived at the office early Saturday they found the flight-line door had been kicked open, as was the door to an interior office.
