Viks unable to cage Bruins offense

While the Vikings were able to bottleneck the middle and keep the Bruins out of the paint, they had no such luck defending against the Bruins’ propensity for shooting beyond the arc Tuesday night.

Brookings sank a total of eight 3-pointers in the game, five of those coming in the first quarter.

“Brookings shot very well,” said Siuslaw coach Aaron McNeill. “We had a hard time keeping up with their up-tempo style of play.”
