Florence man caught after illegally entering 23 cars

A 28-year-old Florence man, who admitted to entering and stealing items that include a semi-automatic pistol from 22 unlocked cars last week in the area, was arrested Sunday after illegally entering his 23rd vehicle.

Florence Police took Josh Korczak into custody Jan. 13 and charged him with unlawful entry to a motor vehicle that occurred the day before. During the investigation, Korczak confessed to entering 22 other unlocked cars in the Florence area over the past few nights.
