Viks pin fourth at home

Siuslaw senior Hayden Miles moves his opponent into position for a pin in the 152-lb. bracket during the Nick Lutz Invitational last weekend. Miles was named Outstanding Wrestler for the upper weight divisions. Sophomore Luke Carroll won the 145-lb. division on Saturday.

While several members of the Siuslaw wrestling team were battling the flu, leaving the Vikings with an abbreviated roster for their annual Nick Lutz Invitational on Saturday, those who were on the mats for Siuslaw were also battling, earning fourth place overall at the 11-team meet.
