Human trafficking topic of forum today

Soroptimist International of Florence is hosting a free informational forum open to all citizens concerned about human trafficking.

The speakers include a former victim, a woman who helps trafficked women and girls escape entrapment, a Eugene Police Department detective, an FBI agent, an AWARE speaker, Tammy Honeycutt and Florence Chief of Police Ray Gutierrez.

The forum will be held in the fireside room at Ocean Dunes Golf Links on Munsel Lake Road, today, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
