Voters to decide on money for schools

At Wednesday night’s Siuslaw School Board meeting, the board reviewed the wording of a local option levy for schools before placement on the May 21 ballot.

“The key word here is renewal,” said Superinten-dent Jeff Davis. “It’s not a new tax, but a renewal of the local option levy for school operations.”
