Over the last days of April, Florence police logged four burglary calls across town.
According to John Pitcher, Florence Police lieutenant, thieves took mostly cash from local businesses after prying open doors and locks or breaking windows.
On Monday, April 22, a worker at Ronís Paint arrived at the store, on Highway 101 north of town, to find the front door lock ripped open and money missing from the till.
On April 23, Premier Landscaping on Quince Street at Highway 126 was broken into.
On Wednesday, April 24, Homegrown Public House owner Kelsey Terry arrived at the Laurel Street restaurant to find a broken window and cash and iPods missing. Terry said she will be investing in new locks and an alarm system.For the complete article see the 05-04-2013 issue.
