A ‘site’ to see Siuslaw River Bridge Interpretive Site officially opens Friday

Posted: Tuesday, Jun 25th, 2013

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for the new and long-awaited Siuslaw River Bridge Interpretive Site on Friday, June 28, at 10 a.m. The public is invited.

The Bay Street park has been re-shaped, concrete walkways poured and a viewing deck installed, and last week landscapers planted trees and grass. The walkway takes visitors past tidal wetlands and a stormwater treatment swale.
