COTTERóWilma Elizabeth Wilbur Wilcut Cotter, 90, previously of Deadwood, passed away July 22, 2013, from age-related causes.
She will be sadly missed.
Wilma was born in Eugene, Ore., on June 26, 1923, to William and Margaret Wilbur. They lived in Deadwood, Ore., and she graduated from Mapleton High School.
She was married to Oliver Wilcut and they divorced after 48 years.
Wilma worked as a clipper operator in a veneer plant in Swisshome, Ore., until she retired.
She lived on a farm with Oliver and loved animals. She had a variety over the years.
She loved her family and every holiday; her family would gather at the ranch for lots of food and good times.
After she married John Cotter, they moved to La Pine, Ore., and later to Arlington, Wash.
Survivors include her husband, John, of Arlington; her son, Richard Wilcut (Pat) of Woodburn, Ore.; her daughter, Sandra Abrahamson (Jim) of Eugene; her sister, Mary Florence Knowlson, of Rosburg, Ore.; a brother, Don Wilbur (Johnette) of Deadwood; a stepdaughter, Melinda Cook (Darren) of Arlington; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
