The Florence Police Department will conduct three additional pedestrian enforcement operations over the Labor Day holiday and the beginning of the school year. The first is Monday, Sept. 2, at Highway 101 and 17th Street from 3 to 6 p.m.
Police will be watching pedestrian operations again on Sept. 6 at Highway 101 and 15th Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. One more enforcement operation is scheduled Sept. 12 at Highways 101 and 126 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The operations will be canceled if it rains.
