Entrepreneurial spirit

When Florence Cinemas employees James Pike and Dara Burnem learned they would soon lose their jobs at the only movie theater in town, they started to brainstorm.

“It was more of a joking thing at first, but we wondered what it would take to actually run it ourselves,” said Pike, who was the theater’s projectionist and sold concessions.
