Sunday, March 9, marks the beginning of Daylight Saving Time. Readers are reminded to “spring forward” and adjust their clocks one hour ahead. The change also serves as a good reminder for Oregonians to test their smoke alarms.
The state fire marshal urges residents to test their smoke alarms before automatically changing the batteries.
