PEPER—Timothy V. Peper, 66, of Florence, passed away April 16, 2014.
Tim was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in Vietnam. On May 31, 1968, he was promoted to sergeant. He was very proud of the Corps and had a very kind heart.
Tim enjoyed helping others and volunteered at the Florence Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge. He retired as a mold maker in manufacturing and had plans to travel to see his children and grandchildren, and do a whole lot of fishing on his new boat.
Survivors include his children: Tiffany Peper, Tammy Peper, Stacy Strong-McMillian and Windy Strong-Correa; his mother, Zola Peper; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Michael and Jay Peper; a sister, Kim Smithline; and a very special person, Ginny.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at the Community Baptist Church on Thursday, April 23, at 11 a.m.
Tim will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, and he is with the Lord.
