All signs point to graduation
Mapleton and Siuslaw Class of 2022 progress this week
June 8, 2022 — Drive down Highway 101 this week and you’ll find blue and gold signs honoring each graduate of the Class of 2022.
These signs, provided each year by the Kiwanis Club of Florence, are reminders that it is once again time for the community to honor Mapleton and Florence’s seniors who have come to the end of the long journey that is high school.
Both schools will hold ceremonies to honor their seniors this weekend.
Siuslaw’s Class of 2022 will graduate Friday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at the Siuslaw High School gym at 2111 Oak St. To watch the live stream go to youtu.be/o6wM6E04pTM.
The Class of 2022 from Mapleton will hold their ceremony in their high school gym Saturday, June 11, at 2 p.m. MHS is located at 10868 East Mapleton Road. Mapleton will also stream its ceremony at youtu.be/ccJQK3gq6mI.
