Senior Court helps welcome Junior Princesses

Jan. 19, 2022 — On Tuesday, the Rhododendron Court Committee held an assembly at Siuslaw Elementary School to crown the five members of the 2022 Rhododendron Junior Court. (From left) This year’s junior court are all from Siuslaw and are first-grade Princess Katelynn Riddle (not pictured), second-grade Princess Myla Streck, third-grade Princess Chanel Chatham, fourth-grade Princess Giavanna Flosi and fifth-grade Princess Lily Lewis. Joining them are (from left) Prince Joseph Shepard, Princess Alex Fuller, Prince Camp Lacouture, Princess Alizabeth Norton, Prince Chad Hughes, Prince James Smith, Princess Alexia Clark and Prince Jason Garcia (not pictured are Princess Haylee Cole and Princess Cameron Kentta). The Senior Court was announced at an assembly last Friday. The Florence Rhododendron Festival will be May 18 to 22, 2022, with a theme of “Back in Bloom.” The Rhododendron Court Coronation will be held Thursday, May 19.
