August 12, 2022 — On Sunday, Aug. 7, the new owners of the Caremi began the process of towing the boat from the Port of Siuslaw out to the Pacific Ocean on the way to Astoria to dry dock. There, the Caremi will be refurbished for future fishing expeditions. The Stormy C was the boat that towed the Caremi to Astoria. After repairs, the boat will head to Garibaldi, its future home.
