City of Florence to host Back-to-School BBQ
The whole community is invited today at Miller Park
Sept. 7, 2022 — School started Tuesday and Wednesday this week for most kids in the Siuslaw region. The City of Florence invites the community to celebrate the occasion with a BBQ .
Everyone is invited today, Sept. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. (or until supplies run out) at the concession stand at Miller Park, 1651 18th St.
City staff will serve free hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream and drinks. Activities include corn hole, ladder ball, chalk and more.
“Stop by, eat some food, and let's celebrate the beginning of a new school year together,” the city said.
