Empty bowls to help fill up Florence Food Share pantry

The Empty Bowls Committee is proud to announce that this year’s Empty Bowls Fundraiser is gearing up for this year’s event at the Florence Events Center (FEC), located at 715 Quince St.
Volunteers are rolling up their sleeves in preparation for the 26th annual Empty Bowls, a fundraiser which benefits the Florence Food Share beginning Friday, Dec. 2 at the Florence Events Center (FEC).
Local artists have been busy all year making ceramic bowls, wood turned bowls, fused glass art pieces, wood art, paintings and photography totaling over 2000 pieces donated so far.
The public is invited to come and see the unique handmade items our art community has generously created for the event.
Handmade ceramic bowls are available for purchase for $15 each, with smaller bowls available for $5-$10 each. Silent auction items are available for bid or at the “buy it now” price.
The dates for the family friendly event are as follows:
Friday, Dec. 2 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, Dec. 9 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Saturday, Dec. 10 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
No admission fee, open to the public. Due to our generous sponsors, all proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Florence Food Share, our local food pantry.
