Joan Kerrebrock, passed away on January 21, 2022

KERREBROCK—Joan Kerrebrock, a long-time resident of Florence, Ore., lost her three-year battle with cancer peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022, in her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Joan was born in 1934 in Los Angeles, Calif., to Gene and Grace Devault. She was married at the age of 19 to her high school sweetheart, Norman Leroy Kerrebrock, on Sept. 19, 1953.
Joan started her career in banking at Bank of America before transitioning to a preschool teacher role at Kirk of the Valley in the San Fernando Valley.

She retired as a mortgage loan processor for Prudential Insurance Company before moving to Florence in 1995.
Joan spent her retirement years volunteering at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Dunes Catholic Church. She had a warm smile and was always complimented on her sense of fashion. She had a giving heart and was adored and loved by all who knew her.
She was preceeded in death by her sister, Carole Pursley. She is survived by her husband Norman of 68 years; three children (Gregory, Denise and Jeanine), seven grandchildren (Sheila, Brian, Lauren, Todd, Darryl, Kelsey and Mitchell), and five great-grandchildren.
