Lane County hosts second Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic at SMS

July 10, 2021 — On Saturday, July 10, Lane County Public Health is offering a drive thru vaccination clinic at Siuslaw Middle School, 2525 Oak St. The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

Registration for an appointment can be made through the LCPH website at Drive-ups are also welcome.

“Several Florence agencies have come together to provide a drive through vaccine clinic for the Oregon Coast,” said Nancy Berge, with The Arc Lane County’s Families Connected. “This clinic is open to all people living in the coastal area, not only Florence.”

The event is brought to the area through The Arc Lane County, Early Childhood CARES, Oregon Family Support Network, Families Connect and the Autism Society of Oregon.

“There is no need to get out of the car — just drive up and you will be greeted by Lane County Public Health and their staff to get your vaccine,” Berge said.

All Oregonians 12 years old and older are eligible for the vaccine.
