Michael Lee Walker passed away on February 14, 2022.

WALKER—Michael Lee Walker passed away on February 14, 2022, in Florence, Ore.

Michael was born on February 5, 1962, in Stockton, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father James Walker, grandparents Joe and Eudine Walker, Ray Boggiano and Lelda Payne; step grandfather Frank Payne and step grandparents

Joseph and Darlene Chmelicek; and stepfather Tom Boggiano Chmelicek.

He is survived by his mother Donna Boggiano Chmelicek, sister Kathy Walker, brother Jim (Darlene) Walker, nephew Jay (Sara) Walker, grandniece Ava Walker and stepgrandmother Violet Walker, along with many dear friends.

Michael attended Lakewood Elementary and Woodbridge Middle School in California, middle school and high school in Hermiston, Ore., Class of 1980.

Michael was artistic and talented. He spent his career in the auto industry working in auto parts, as a truck driver and as a diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. He owned his own business, Nastees Customs, building custom hot rods and T-Buckets, for which he won many awards.

Private internment will be at Pacific Sunset Cemetery in Florence, Ore. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family and Michael have requested donations can be made to Willamette Valley Cancer Center in Eugene, Ore.
