Norman Leroy Kerrebrock passed away March 12, 2022
KERREBROCK—Norman Leroy Kerrebrock passed away March 12, 2022, joining his wife Joan shortly after her passing this past January.
Norman was born on June 25, 1930, to Victor and Bertha Kerrebrock, who immigrated from Belgium. He spent most of his life in the Los Angeles, Calif., area. He graduated from John Marshall High School in Los Angeles and then joined the U.S. Army, where he served two years at The Presidio in San Francisco. Upon returning home to marry Joan Deavault, he worked for Aronson Rug Service for many years until he retired in 1995.
Norman and Joan moved to Canoga Park, Calif., where they were married at Our Lady of the Valley Church on Sept. 19, 1953. Throughout their time in Canoga Park, they raised three children, Gregory, Denise and Jeanine.
They retired and moved to Florence, Ore., in 1995, where they spent most of their 27 years volunteering in the community. Norman sang and performed in the community theatre and also sang in Barbershop. He was very active at Our Lady of the Dunes Catholic Church and volunteered at many functions for Greentrees Village, where they resided.
Norman is survived by his children, Gregory, Denise and Jeanine, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
