Nov. 16, 2022 — On Thursday, Nov. 10, juniors Cate and Cort Waggoner invited local veterans to attend the annual Veterans Day Assembly at Siuslaw High School, a tradition began by their older sister, Claire Lynn. The high school gym was filled with students on the bleachers, as well as chairs for the veterans. There were also two opportunities for the veterans to interact with students.
