Event is fundraiser for high school program

July 8, 2022 — The Siuslaw soccer team will host a youth soccer camp Aug. 1-5 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Siuslaw soccer field on the corner of 27^th and Oak Street.

The camp is for youth players going into second through eighth grade and costs $60 per player. Kids will be divided into age groups and each group will be instructed by one of the Siuslaw High’s soccer coaches with assistance from Siuslaw High soccer players.

The camp is a fundraiser for the Siuslaw Viking soccer program. The 2022-23 season will be the program’s third year of existence and will also be the first year Siuslaw will field a girls varsity team.

There are three ways to register for the camp:

• Starting July 11, pick up a hard copy registration at Pacific Frameworks, 2420 Highway 101, Florence.
