Florence Elks Lodge holds annual Hoop Shoot

Jan. 18, 2023 - The Florence Elks Lodge #1858 held its annual Hoop Shoot on Saturday, Jan. 14, in the gym at Siuslaw Elementary School.

Kids ages 8 to 13 years old were split into groups based on age and gender to compete in a free throw shooting competition. 

Medals were awarded to each of six division winners and those winners advanced to the district competition in Sweet Home on Jan. 21.

The event was organized and run by volunteers from the Florence Elks Lodge #1858.
